Thank you for visiting The Jason L. Simpson Memorial Scholarship Fund  

The Jason L. Simpson Memorial Scholarship Fund is a 501 (c) (3) organization providing scholarships and supporting community service activities in and around the Pocono region of Pennsylvania in honoring the memory of Jason L. Simpson who passed away on December 18, 2012.  Jason was the son of Neal and Joyce Simpson of Bartonsville, PA.

 

Jason was a 1989 honors graduate of Stroudsburg High School. During his enrollment in the Stroudsburg School District, he received many academic and athletic honors. He graduated from Stroudsburg High School in the top ten percent of his class. He was an outstanding basketball player and received first-team honors in the Centennial League and also received Pennsylvania All-State honorable mention.  He participated in track as a triple jumper and placed 2nd in District 11 and placed 7th in the Pennsylvania State Championship Meet. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, with honors, Jason worked for the East-Bay Conservation Corps in Oakland, CA serving and counseling underprivileged youth who were enrolled in junior and senior high schools. In the fall of 1995, he was accepted into the graduate school at the University of Southern California where he earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing in 1997. 

 

Jason was employed as the assistant vice president for sponsorships at AT&T in Dallas, TX.
