The Jason L. Simpson Memorial Scholarship Fund will award four $1,000 scholarships for the 2021 school year to four successful applicants.  We are using the following criteria:

  • Must be a Black/African American graduating senior.

  • Provide a transcript with evidence of a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5. 

  • A reference letter/form that provides support for the student's community service.

  • A reference letter/form that provides support for the student's scholastic involvement.

  • Write a 500 to 750-word autobiography. 

  • Write a 750 to 1,000-word essay that demonstrates the student's understanding of excellent academic achievement, service to the community, and participation in co-curricular activities.
